Prolonged exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays can cause the skin on the neck to become dry, cracked, and discolored. In addition, too much sun exposure can lead to an increased risk of skin cancer. Fortunately, there are ways to reduce risks of sun damage on the neck and protect it from browning colour of skin. It’s critical to take proactive steps to protect your skin from sun damage in order to minimize the effects of UV rays. When outdoors, you should wear Sunscreen and Legionnaire Hats or Wide-brim Hats to keep your neck protected. Avoid straw hats with holes that let sunlight through to neck.

Formal & Fashion Hat Storage:
Formal hat storage is a big component of maintaining your hat hygiene. Store it properly and it will keep its shape. If you do not wear your hat very often, store it in a hat box that supports both the brim and the crown. Continually lifting your hat by the crown will also cause the crown to lose its stiffness and weaken its ability to hold its shape. Keep the hat box in a cool, dry place. Moisture can cause irreversible damage to your hat if it remains damp for a long period of time. Never store your hat in direct sunlight or hot, dry places like a car. This can also fade the colour of your hat.
